Wheel-thrown vase with tenmoku glazed exterior. Fired in our woodfired kiln. Watertight, 20 oz volume. Handwash recommended due to shape.
 
Wood ash collected on the shoulder of this vase over the course of a 55 hour wood firing. The melted wood ash has interacted with the tenmoku glaze to create a surface of varied earth tones.
